So I got news tonight of another award win for The Great Football Experiment, a project that I spent a lot of last year leading for Bigballs. We have won the Best Digital Award and the Sports Industry Awards. This is the biggest award the campaign could have won and we beat some pretty stiff opposition, so I’m throughly delighted for all who worked on the project from all the agencies, to those within BigBalls, but mostly the boys from Ivory FC.
In other news, the Hollyoaks jobs are going really well, shooting them over the next three weeks with a wicked Director called Colin O’Toole, check his work out here.
After that, I’ll be back at BigBalls working on another very interesting football project, so 2012 is looking like it’s going to be Ballsy!
Big love as always.

Did you all enjoy the British Summer, we got two whole weeks this year!
The Sun has certainly been shining for me recently, been working developing the film and am now back up in my adopted homeland of Liverpool working on a couple of projects for Hollyoaks. I’ll explain more when I can but there is lots of exciting stuff going on. And I’ve just booked tickets for the Superbowl in Feb 2013, so that is VERY exciting!
Interesting news just dropped about Product placement finally getting going on TV, so many years after we premiered it on KateModern, it’s good to see good old traditional drama getting in on the act, the guys at Hollyoaks are working hard on getting more placement, should be interesting.
Thanks for stopping by, HUT HUT

Read MoreHey there,
So things are moving at pace this year, our film is coming along and we hope to shoot it before the Olympics in London, but we may get beaten to the bang by those carrying the Olympic flame!
I’m also working back up in Liverpool at Lime Pictures on a very exciting project, more to follow about that soon, and this was a lovely first email to receive of the day (apart from all the spam I get overnight!)
Hi All,
We are pleased to announced that NIVEA FOR MEN’s Great Football Experiment has won a Hollis Sponsorship Award for Best Digital Activation in a Sponsorship Campaign.

We were up against some great competition including NatWest’s Secret Cricketer and Barclays Football which makes winning this award a fantastic achievement. It is a testament to the innovative thinking, creativity and hard work of everyone involved in bringing the Great Football Experiment to life, so thank you!
We have also been shortlisted for two more awards that are due to take place in May, so let’s hope this is just the start!
Sports Industry Awards – 2nd May
Marketing Week Engage Awards – 22nd May
Kind Regards,
So a good start to Wednesday, and the Sun is out in Liverpool (The big yellow ball in the sky, not the paper!)
Hope you’re all well.

Read MoreSo I’ve just finished working with someone who I consider to be THE most exciting prospect in British Music, Smiler. I was lucky enough to work with him as his tour manager for the MOBO Tour 2012, we did 8 shows and took in the majority of mainland Britain.
Being on the tour reminded me how much I enjoy being out and about meeting new people and seeing new musicians doing their thing, Smiler was immense throughout the tour but I also found out about Josh Osho, Cleo Sol, Benny Banks & Clement Marfo and the Frontline. All of them are incredibly talented in their own ways and will be names you’ll hear a lot more of in the next few months.
Smiler has a new mix tape out now called AllIknow which I would suggest that you download, If you like Drake, this boy is for you!
Shout out to Dj Harsh and Meleka who gave the show extra swag (as they say on the street)!
Off skiing tomorrow, then back to the grind of developing the film and some more fun projects I’m involved in developing at the moment!
Big love as ever

Hello to you, welcome to my website, 2011 was another mental year where I found myself all over the country and Europe, I spent a lot of time in Essex for Nivea, Ibiza for Coca Cola Burn, and even more in Liverpool working on Hollyoaks for their new Series Producer Emma Smithwick. Needless to say it was a fun year, 2012 has started in similar form, I’ve already been in Las Vegas and New York and am now settling back in to London and starting full time production on The Boy With The Thorn in His Side, my very first forray in to feature films!
Take a look at some of the work that I’ve done over the years and let me know what you think via the Facebook or twitter feeds to the right of this message!
Big love and good luck for 2012.

I love an award nomination, years ago when we were making KateModern we were lucky enough to be nominated for two BAFTA’s, we also won a Broadcasting Press Guild award for “Innovation in Broadcasting” and since then I’ve not had much luck when we’ve entered things, till today.
I felt extra love this Valentines Day as I heard that The Great Football Experiment (you can see the videos on the Bigballs page) has been nominated for a Sports Industry Award, which is a fairly big deal, take a look http://www.sportindustry.biz/news/view/10799/sport-industry-awards-2012-shortlist-revealed.
The Awards are in May, so fingers crossed we get the nod, and I get an invite to the ceremony!
Hope you’re all going well!

Read MoreCan’t believe we’re already 6 days into Feb 2012, exciting start to the year though has seen a trip to the states for a couple of meetings and moving ever closer to going into full scale production of the first feature I’ve been involved in “The Boy With The Thorn In His Side”.
While we are finishing getting the funding for the film together I’m doing some work with the UK Rapper Smiler, I’m going to be producing some content with him on the road while he takes part in the MOBO tour in late February which is really exciting.
Lots of other bits and bobs bubbling along which I’ll update in due course.
Stay safe in the snow.
